Hanan Group, in strategic collaboration with the Selangor State Forestry Department, carried out a mangrove tree planting programme at Mangrove Point, Klang as part of our commitment to environmental conservation and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The initiative brought together approximately 50 Hanan Group employees who took part in planting activities aimed at supporting the restoration of the local mangrove ecosystem and helping to mitigate coastal erosion. Before the planting activity, participants attended a safety briefing and received guidance on proper mangrove planting techniques from the appointed Rangers and representatives from Selangor Maritime Gateway.
Through the programme, a total of 100 mangrove saplings were successfully planted, contributing to efforts to strengthen and preserve the surrounding coastal environment.
The second session of the programme was held on 17 August 2024, with another 50 Hanan Group employees participating in the initiative. The continued participation reflects our employees’ commitment to supporting meaningful environmental efforts and contributing to the long-term sustainability of our natural surroundings.
