GoodScience has introduced Braille labelling on outer carton packaging to enhance accessibility for visually impaired users. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the National Council for the Blind Malaysia, which verifies the accuracy of the Braille content.
In addition, internal team members have undergone Braille training to support in-house reading and verification. The initiative aligns with the efforts of the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) to promote visually impaired-friendly medicine labelling using Braille. Implementation began with Oralmet Tablet 500mg.
Impact
This initiative improves product accessibility and promotes inclusivity by enabling visually impaired individuals to identify healthcare products more independently and safely. With both external validation and internal capability building, GoodScience ensures accuracy, reliability, and long-term sustainability of accessible packaging practices.
